Another wonderful collaboration with CLIM Studio. This was a massive undertaking that included a small team of 3D artists including myself that required an ever-evolving approach to design and problem solving as we developed an entire world that could be explored throughout Samsung’s Milan Design week installation experience.
My tasks were broad and included 3D RND/design, animation/technical dev as well as material/lighting development.
For the challenge of animating the loop-able sequence on display in the final room, I had to use a combination of techniques utilizing both simulations, generators, and hand-keyed keyframes.

You read that right: a whole Art Installation! And not a tiny one, to be honest! The final scene, Infinite Dream, is the pinnacle where the impossible and the possible come together. Humans find themselves completely immersed in a world of familiar elements and also elements of fantasy.
This perfect balance of everything essential, innovative and harmonious is the interpretation of Samsung’s design philosophy. Depicting a world of infinite dreams and coexistence, you can now perceive the greater purpose of this symbiotic relationship, where progress focuses on creating meaningful value.”
